Today was a fun-filled day with our Junior Campers! First, we rode the bus out to Eldorado Canyon where we got to sing some songs and play “Giants, Wizards, and Elves” with the older kids. Next, we went on a short hike up to the Park Ranger’s station, where we made caterpillars! After going inside to check out the Ranger’s station, we headed back out for lunch. After lunch, we caught some awesome butterflies! It was very exciting to check out the butterflies up close before setting them free again. After catching the bus back to base camp with Ed, we read some stories. After a bit of free play, we enjoyed a tasty snack. Everyone had a great day! We even got back to base camp before the storm rolled through Eldo!
