The Denver Juniors spent the first day of Wild Weather week learning to use bows and arrows. Tom was very impressed with everyone’s listening skills on the archery range.

We started the day with the Penguin song, Little Red Wagon, and played Evolution. Ask your camper if she or he made it to robot or dinosaur!

Everyone decorated their water bottles, and we wre busy drinking water to stay cool on this hot day! The campers also named their cabin groups- we checked out the nature center and dressed up as different animals and got to feel different animals’ bones.

Back at base camp, we beat heat by staying inside for our story, afternoon activity, songs, and snack.

See you tomorrow!
