Welcome, Juniors, to the bug week of camp! We started out singing Tarzan and the Princess Pat before we played a round of centipede tag. Next, we learned about our rules and decorated our very own water bottles. They will stay here overnight until Friday. We took the bus to NCAR for lunch with a beautiful view. After lunch, we explored the cool science exhibits in the cool interior of NCAR. It wasn’t long before it was time to get back on the bus and come to base camp. There, we heard a story and rested our bodies before free play and bug catching. Over snack, we started to name our group, but ran out of time. We’ll finish tomorrow.
