We had a great day in Eldo! For the first half of the day we played an all-camp game called Gold Rush, in which campers worked together to find gold and take it safely back to the pad. Through good teamwork and collaborative strategies the campers prevailed over the “gold thieves” (Jen and Ed).
In the second half of the day campers split into their cabin groups. The Darkside Troopers built an incredible structure out of toobies while the Noname Fireball Dragons, the Bulldogs, and the Orange Cowboy Pickles of Extreme Mountain Awesomeness made elaborate pet rocks.
Near the end of the day campers snacked on delicious gorp, loaded the bus and road off just in time to miss the rain!
