We had a great Tuesday at camp! We started our day in the canyon with three camp songs- “Around the World,” “Riki Tiki Tumba,” and “The Hippo Song.” Then we played a game of “Resources,” which evoked discussion about the relationship between the population in an area and the resources available. After, we split into our groups and started our individual activities. The Tiny Ninja Turtles from Pluto made animal houses using materials from nature, designed popsicle stick creations and played a great game of charades. The other groups hiked to the cave for lunch and returned in the afternoon to play some games and make spongebugs! We ended the day with some gorp and two afternoon songs– “I Love the Mountains” and “On Top of Spaghetti.” It was a great day! Pool day tomorrow!!!
