The Junior campers began the day with an exciting activity: climbing on our rock wall, Wally! Even though a few campers were a little hesitant, everyone gave the wall a try. Some campers even made it to the top! When we weren’t climbing, we were surprised to learn that the playground had woken up and we could play on it. We took breaks in the shade making popsicle stick creations and signing our group shield. We ate lunch in the shade before hearing some really interesting stories. We also made forests full of mushrooms. We watched Tom cast some flies out in the yard before we played the Animal Game and did Pizza stretches.

We sang all day today, but we started out with the Little Spaceship in the Sky, the Moose Song, Peanut Butter Reese’s Cup. We loved these songs so much that we sang them throughout the day, but were sure to finish out with On Top of Spaghetti. It was our loudest round ever!

At the end of the day, we surprised our counselor Michelle with a thank-you card since it was her last day! Everyone was worn out by the end of the day but still had energy enough for snack and playing in a sprinkler to cool off. Have a great rest of the summer & we’ll see you soon!
