The Juniors had a fantastic day up in Eldo today! We started at base camp with singing Get Loose and Tarzan and playing Evolution-Reptile Edition (egg, lizard, snake, dinosaur). New campers decorated their water bottles while return campers made scratch-off coloring pages and colored pictures of reptiles. The bottles will sleep here during the week and you will take them home on Friday. Up in Eldo, we lunched near the creek and explored the ranger station. Both groups chose names: the Incredibly Secret Pretty Fire-breathing Komodo Dragon Dinosaurs and the Gooey Squishy Snakes. We had some free play and played name games to get acquainted with each other. Back at camp, Christie read a story and we played sleeping bunnies before we debriefed, using mood dudes to talk about the day, and snacked. Thanks for a fun day and see you tomorrow!
