Tommy knew from an early age that camp was his life’s work! After many summers attending and then directing camps in Ohio, Wisconsin and Colorado, Tommy started Mountain Day Camp in 2005, which evolved into AO Camps, and is now Camp Granite Lake.
“The growth I experienced at camp influences everything I do in work and play. I wouldn’t be who I am, and I wouldn’t have my energetic and independent approach to life without it. Little did I know the influence camp was having on my life – I was just having fun!”
Tommy’s family is actively involved in life at camp. His wife, Ali, is a pediatrician. Their kids are: Joey, age 4, and Mara, age 2. They live up at camp all summer, too.
