We had a wonderful pool day at Eldorado Canyon pool–even though the water was chilly, the sun was warm, and we had tons of fun playing and making lanyards. We began our day with the Swimming Song and the Shark Song, then played a quick game of categories to learn about different campers’ favorite things. Then, we headed to the pool, where we put on lots of sunscreen and headed into the water to play! After lunch, campers learned how to make lanyards; ask to see your camper’s! We also enjoyed going down the slide and jumping off the diving board. For afternoon snack, we had some delicious watermelon and drank lots of water–it’s important to stay hydrated on pool day! We ended our day with a round of “I Love the Mountains,” and the classic On Top of Spaghetti. To see photos from pool day, sign in to our password-protected photos website, photos.aocamps.com.
