Thursday the explorers started off their day with a fun all-camp game called Predator Prey. Each cabin group was either a moth, a snake or an owl. Campers in Jess’ group, the Venomous Spiders were moths, and the campers in Michelle’s group were snakes. The moths were lowest in the food chain, so they had to hide from snakes and owls in the bushes while looking for food, shelter and water. Snakes chased the moths and ran away from the owls. The groups had a lot of fun, and learned about the food chain in the process!
The rest of the day was spent at the pool chasing counselors, looking for submerged coins on the pool floor, and making lanyards. Campers returned home tired and happy after of a fun day in the sun.
