Today the AO Explorers had a fishing day at Rocky Mountain Arsenal. In the Outdoors Group one of our campers caught a huge fish! In the Moth Men Group one of the campers caught a large mouth bass! Both of the groups had a great time exploring the Visitor’s Center and pretending to be prairie dogs. We also looked at some stuffed wildlife including a really fun fox all the campers liked.
The campers played an all camp game with the Junior campers of Ship Island which everyone enjoyed. We also sang many songs including Baby Shark and Country Roads. The Outdoors Group did face painting today which included a frog and beautiful butterfly! The Moth Men made up a skit today in the Visitors Center for the camp as well. We ended the day with our camp song On Top of Spaghetti and had some sleepy campers on the bus ride home!
