The Juniors had good luck with the weather at the pool today. At first, it was a little bit cloudy, but Mr. Sun showed his face in time for us all to have loads of fun swimming and playing in the spray features, like the water dumping buckets and the duckie slide.
Before we headed out to the pool, we began our morning with Baby Shark, the Swimming Song, and Peanut Butter Reese’s Cup. We then played The Bee Game, a new game invented by one of the Denver counselors a few weeks ago. Our Junior Leader added the beekeeper to trap unsuspecting worker bees. Everyone did a great job collecting pollen, honey, and flowers. We then made our own model magic forests or forest creatures to fit with our tree theme. Look for these in our backpacks!
After pool, we heard a story from our Junior Leader who’s leaving tomorrow, and then chowed down on some tasty oranges for snack.
