The AO explorers made their inaugural trip to Barr Lake State Park on a record setting Monday. 100 degree heat could not deter this great group of campers. We kicked off the day singing the “Fishing Song” and playing drip drip drop to cool off. We then joined up with our cabin groups to explore the beautiful wetlands surrounding the lake. We were able to observe numerous species of birds and took some time in the nature center to learn about some of the wildlife that calls Barr Lake home!
Today the AOE are off to Eldorado State Park to hike and climb in the beautiful canyon. Please look for pictures to follow!
