All the junior campers jumped on the bus this morning headed up to Wondervu. We got off the bus, sang a few songs and then it was time for all of us to rock climb on our 26-foot wall, Wally! Each camper got multiple turns to take different routes on the wall with our climbing instructor, Ben. We ate a quick lunch and then walked down to the archery range. Tommy took us through the rules and guidelines to archery and then it was our turn to fire the arrows! Many campers hit the targets! Ed, our bus driver, picked us up and we were on our way.
We came back to Whittier for a quick snack and then did a craft about dinosaurs and read a story about Sue the T-Rex! We closed our day with reflection on the week and sang our last “Meatball” song! We hope to see you all either later this summer or next year!
