Campers kicked off their day with CGL favorites ‘Herman the Worm’ and ‘Little Red Wagon’ at morning meet-up before a delicious breakfast. After breakfast our Intermediate Village headed to the pool, and our Juniors started their week with a trip to the stables, and a beautiful trail ride with stunning views of the Continental Divide. The Senior Village started the day with a village game before jumping into activities.
We had beautiful weather all day and the kitchen grilled BBQ chicken for lunch, which everyone loved, and after a rest hour, our Junior campers went rock climbing and did arts and crafts, while our Senior village jumped back into activities, and our Intermediates rested after trip to the pool.
For Organized Free Time we opened Fort Building, the field, the basketball court, the amphitheater and the town center and campers enjoyed themselves hopping between activities.
The kitchen made a delicious turkey meatloaf with mashed potatoes, green beans, and fresh bread for dinner, and we ended the day with a favorite CGL evening program, Carnival!
