We had an awesome day at Eldorado Pool today! We began our day at Mesa Trailhead, where we sang some fun morning songs, including “Baby Bumblebee.” We played a quick game of Ah-So-Ko, and then hopped on the bus to head to the pool. We listened to the lifeguards tell us how to be safe, and then headed into the pool to sunscreen and enjoy the pool!

We swam all morning, hopping out regularly to drink lots of water, and then got out to eat lunch. We ate our delicious lunches while asking each other true-false questions, (True or False: All of us are partially made of stardust. Turns out, it’s true!) After lunch, we put on some more sunscreen, and then learned how to make lanyards. Ask to see your camper’s lanyard!

After we’d rested and lanyard-ed, we headed back into the pool, where we played, hung out with a butterfly named “Pool,” and enjoyed going down the slide and off the diving board. At the end of the day, we all changed into our dry clothes, had some delicious apple for snack, and closed the day with some quieter afternoon songs, including “Rattlin’ Bog” and, of course, “On Top of Spaghetti.” It was another awesome day, and we’re excited to be back in the canyon tomorrow to play Gold Rush!
