On Wednesday the Denver juniors had a great time exploring Stapleton’s South Westerly Creek. We stopped along the way to look at and discuss Prairie Dogs. We observed some of the creeks and saw Minos and crawdads.
The group had a nice shaded lunch underneath one of the bridges and learned the next verse of our Dinosaur song. After lunch we went to central park to run around and play Dino tag. The bus picked us up right on time and took us to our quiet place for story time and songs.
We left the school early to come back to the Stapleton green for a dinosaur chalk activity which turned out to be a lot of fun, especially when the kids poured water on their drawings and smeared them into abstract colors. Another great day ahead of us tomorrow. See you then!
