Today was a great day for the Boulder Juniors. In the morning we played name games and sang “Peanut Butter Reese’s Cup” before departing on a short hike up the Marshall Mesa Trail. We ate lunch in the shade by the trail. After lunch Pete found some snake skin that a snake must have shed recently. We looked passed around the skin and learned about snakes. When we got back to the trail head Ed picked us up in the school bus and drove us back to Base Camp. We had a quiet time and listened to stories before going outside to discuss our group name (Fire Exploding) and write our group code. Next we played Ship Island before going back inside to decorate water bottles and color in coloring sheets. And so ended a great day in Boulder Junior. Get ready for tomorrow; we will be rock climbing!
