AO’s Denver camps had an amazing day at the National Wildlife Refuge. After a cool start to camp yesterday, the sun was shining, and campers were a’ singin’. We kicked off the day with “The Moose Song”, “Sloopy”, and “Brown Squirrel” and played a game of Giants, Wizards and Elves.

Campers then spent time in their cabin groups, hiking Lake Mary and Lake Ladora (a lot of campers went the full two miles around the lake!), making sponge bugs, visiting the contact station and playing some teambuilding games. We saved some time at the end of the day to get campers into their new AO T-shirts and to take cabin photos! Stay tuned for those to be posted!

Tomorrow, AO Denver heads to Barr Lake!
