Today, we climbed in the canyon with the Denver campers! We began our day with a fun morning song called “Get Loose,” that the campers kept singing all day. Then, we played a fun game of Evolution with the junior campers, got sunscreened, and began our day. Everyone who wanted to had a chance to climb two routes, belayed by Russell, our climbing guide, or by Program Director Jen. It was great fun! We also enjoyed seeing the Denver AO program, which came up to the canyon to climb in the afternoon.Other activities included some awesome face painting, animal masks, clay creations, helium hoop, and leaf rubbings. We had an amazing day–ask your camper which part of the day they liked best. We finished the day with some delicious gorp mixed by the Goddesses and Midnight Ninjas–it was yummy! Then, we sang On Top of Spaghetti to finish our awesome day of rock climbing!
Tomorrow, we’re headed to the pool to stay nice and cool in this hot summer weather! See you there!
