Today was the first day of the Junior’s Insect Session! We had a great start to the day at Morrison Nature Center with songs and sunscreen. We then had some fun name games within our cabin groups to learn everyone’s name. There are two Cabin Groups which are called The Tree Group and The Golden Ants. We had lunch at the Morrison Nature Center and went on a fun hike to see a beaver dam!
We went to Fletcher School for some quiet time and the campers listened very well to some insect stories followed by snack time. We then ended the day at the MCA in Stapleton to make sure we didn’t get caught in the rain! The campers had a great first day and we’re looking forward to a fun week!
