Campers got the day started singing some of their favorite songs like “Sherman the Worm.” We then learned about resources and their impact on trees through the game Oh, Tree. Campers headed to the contact station for some hands-on fun with animal pelts, animal books, the prairie dog tunnel and bee hive exhibit. After, we went for a trek to Lake Ladora for leaf rubbings. Tired out, it was back to base camp for rest, story time, snack, and crafts.
