After the campers sang their morning songs, “Little Red Wagon” and “Great Big Moose,” and played “Categories,” they set out on their hikes. Two groups headed up to the burnt hotel on the Rattlesnake Trail, sharing stories of Shock-T and enjoying the cooler weather in the canyon. They had a picnic lunch along the way and stayed at the hotel for some time, returning to camp just in time for snack! The other group trekked on the Fowler Trail, looking for raptors and rock climbers. They returned to the “pad” to play games and do team-building activities. We ended together with afternoon songs, all excited for the pool tomorrow!
