Thursday of this week the explorers discovered the sand, shells and rocks of sand creek! We started the day with a few songs on the bus called “Awide Awake Alert Enthusiastic” and the all time favorite this session, the “Moose Song”. All the campers got to explore the costume box and practice their skit as well. The Outdoors Group started their wizard skit and the Moth Men started their Mad Scientist skit.
All the campers got to explore the sand at the creek and each camper picked out one rock or shell to make pet rocks! We spent the afternoon eating our GORP recipe the campers had made by doing team builders in the morning and both were very delicious! The Outdoors group really enjoys raisins. The campers had a great day and were excited to practice their skits more on Friday for the final day of the session!
