Today was a fun day at the National Wildlife Refuge! In the morning we sang songs as a group which included “Old Dan Tucker” and “Sloopy”. After the songs were over the groups planned their skits or played games. Right after lunch time everyone got together and watched each cabin group perform their skit. After the skits every group separated to build a fort, go for a hike, or do a round-robin story. Also every group did a closing activity separately and then as a large group we came together and did another closing activity. That activity was a head tapping activity to recognize new friends and funny moments. To end the day we had some delicious GORP and sang more songs! This was a special group to be a part of and there was some very enjoyable moments in every group that included lots of laughter.
