We had a fun, but hot, day in the Canyon! Parents will be glad to know that as a camp, we drank all of the water in two giant blue water coolers–so despite being hot, we stayed well-hydrated. We began our day with some stretching, morning songs, and a fun all-camp game of Matching. Ask your camper how it’s played! Then, the groups split up to put on some sunscreen and begin their days. The Awesome….Chickens did a Scavenger Hunt, marblized painting , and played a game of Spiderweb, while the Goddesses and Midnight Ninjas made animal masks, bouldered, did marble painting, and practiced their skit. Meanwhile, the Griffinpuff Owls also went on a Scavenger Hunt, made crazy sunglasses, played with clay, and did some trust exercises in preparation for climbing tomorrow! We finished our day with some delicious fruit gummies for snack, and ended with some quieter songs including, of course, On Top of Spaghetti!
