Josh is a number one bestselling author, comic creator, video game designer, and film maker coming back for his 11th summer at camp!  Prior to joining camp staff, Josh was a professional stage actor, the first officer on a sailing vessel, has survived a massive flash flood, and has stood up to numerous bears (although he loves bears and thinks they’re cute).  Ultimately, Josh loves camp and can’t wait to see staff and kiddos, uncover some artifacts in Archeology, perform some skits, and have a lot of laughs together up at camp!

Hey y’all, my name is Adam and this is my second summer at CGL. I’m super stoked to be back at camp and have the opportunity to backpack with you all this summer! I currently study outdoor recreation and education at Ohio University where I also work as a backpacking guide. I like anything outdoors but I especially love rock climbing, canoeing, and camping. I spend my weekends traveling to the surrounding areas in West Virginia and Kentucky to climb outside and to just be in nature as much as I can. I also love guiding and being able to provide a memorable experience in the outdoors. I am super excited to be back in the mountains of Colorado and to experience another great summer at CGL!

Hi there! I’m Alex, and I’m so excited for my first summer at Camp Granite Lake! I’m from southwest Washington, where I’m currently studying to become an EMT and working as a barista. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me volunteering as a stage manager at a local theater, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, getting lost in a good book, or planning my next travel adventure. I can’t wait to spend the summer in the mountains, making life long memories and friends with all of you!

Hiiii I’m Annika and this will be my first year at camp! I am originally from Lakeville, Minnesota but I attend the University of Minnesota Duluth (ROLL DOGS) and am studying musical theatre! My hobbies include all things outdoors such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, and swimming, but I also love music, singing, making friendship bracelets, and listening to Taylor Swift 🙂 This summer I am looking forward to meeting a ton of cool people and having fun!

Hello my name is Grady and this is my second summer at camp! I’m currently in my first year at The University Of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I’m seeking a degree in Outdoor Recreation Management. I do A LOT of rock climbing, I was previously a youth climbing coach and route setter at my local gym for 3 years until I moved for school. I’m so excited to see all the returning campers and help the kids get back on the camp climbing walls!

Hi! My name is Greta, and this will be my first summer at Camp Granite Lake. I am currently studying Environmental Science & Management at Cal Poly Humboldt. I am aiming to become an environmental educator for elementary-aged children. Having grown up in Northern California, I am a big fan of all things outdoors, rain or shine. I am happiest cozied up next to a beach bonfire with a good book, and am an avid believer that socks belong with sandals. I grew up spending my winters on the slopes and summers on the water, so I can’t imagine a better way to spend Summer 2025 than at camp!

Hi, my name is Griffin. This will be my 10th summer at Camp Granite Lake, but my first summer as a counselor. I am from San Francisco, California, and I am going overseas for college to study International Relations. I have always loved the water, so I am excited to do lots of paddle boarding and sailing on the lake but also spend some time in the ceramics studio. I can’t wait to meet all the campers and spend my summer at camp!

I’m from metro Atlanta, Georgia, and I’m currently studying marketing and political science at Georgia College and State University. After visiting Colorado with friends and attending camp last summer, it feels like a second home to me!
