Hey y’all, my name is Adam and this is my second summer at CGL. I’m super stoked to be back at camp and have the opportunity to backpack with you all this summer! I currently study outdoor recreation and education at Ohio University where I also work as a backpacking guide. I like anything outdoors but I especially love rock climbing, canoeing, and camping. I spend my weekends traveling to the surrounding areas in West Virginia and Kentucky to climb outside and to just be in nature as much as I can. I also love guiding and being able to provide a memorable experience in the outdoors. I am super excited to be back in the mountains of Colorado and to experience another great summer at CGL!

Hi there! I’m Alex, and I’m so excited for my first summer at Camp Granite Lake! I’m from southwest Washington, where I’m currently studying to become an EMT and working as a barista. When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me volunteering as a stage manager at a local theater, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, getting lost in a good book, or planning my next travel adventure. I can’t wait to spend the summer in the mountains, making life long memories and friends with all of you!

Hiiii I’m Annika and this will be my first year at camp! I am originally from Lakeville, Minnesota but I attend the University of Minnesota Duluth (ROLL DOGS) and am studying musical theatre! My hobbies include all things outdoors such as hiking, camping, rock climbing, and swimming, but I also love music, singing, making friendship bracelets, and listening to Taylor Swift 🙂 This summer I am looking forward to meeting a ton of cool people and having fun!

Hey everyone! My name is Elise and I’m from Flagstaff, AZ! I am going to be a senior at the University of Arizona where I study Speech Language and Hearing Sciences. This will be my second summer at CGL and I’m so excited! I love everything outdoors including hiking, camping, and climbing. I also love trying new coffee shops, traveling, and sweet treats. I am excited to see old friends and meet new ones!

Hello my name is Grady and this is my second summer at camp! I’m currently in my first year at The University Of Tennessee at Chattanooga. I’m seeking a degree in Outdoor Recreation Management. I do A LOT of rock climbing, I was previously a youth climbing coach and route setter at my local gym for 3 years until I moved for school. I’m so excited to see all the returning campers and help the kids get back on the camp climbing walls!

Hi! My name is Greta, and this will be my first summer at Camp Granite Lake. I am currently studying Environmental Science & Management at Cal Poly Humboldt. I am aiming to become an environmental educator for elementary-aged children. Having grown up in Northern California, I am a big fan of all things outdoors, rain or shine. I am happiest cozied up next to a beach bonfire with a good book, and am an avid believer that socks belong with sandals. I grew up spending my winters on the slopes and summers on the water, so I can’t imagine a better way to spend Summer 2025 than at camp!

Hi, my name is Griffin. This will be my 10th summer at Camp Granite Lake, but my first summer as a counselor. I am from San Francisco, California, and I am going overseas for college to study International Relations. I have always loved the water, so I am excited to do lots of paddle boarding and sailing on the lake but also spend some time in the ceramics studio. I can’t wait to meet all the campers and spend my summer at camp!

My name is Jesús (J), and this is my second year as a cabin counselor at Camp Granite Lake. I am from Puebla, Mexico, and I hold a degree in Criminalistics. I enjoy photography, camping, hiking, video games, music, cooking, and archery. I can’t wait to be back at Camp Granite Lake this summer!

I studied Psychology and Neuroscience at SUNY Albany and currently work in Western Massachusetts at a residential program for youth with at risk behaviors. Hi! My name is Leilani, and this will be my second year at Camp Granite Lake and I could not be more excited. I was born in Chicago but moved to Costa Rica when I was seven years old. I love the outdoors, specifically the beach and exploring. I play the guitar, as well as volleyball. I love connecting with others through service work. I also enjoy experiencing new cultures. I look forward to all the familiar faces and seeing new ones.

I’m from Lady Lake, Florida but I’ve spent most of the last year living split between the Czech Republic and Albania! I’m currently studying online for my Master’s in Global Affairs now at FIU! I really love traveling and experiencing new cultures, especially in areas where I can hike and be in the mountains! I enjoy baking and cooking in my free time and I’m always down for a board game or some arts and crafts!
