A Session at Camp Granite Lake
is about…

Why
Camp Granite Lake?
Our campers in Traditional sessions choose their own activity schedules at CGL, fostering independence, decision making and team work. We offer over 20 different activities ranging from boating on the lake to creative writing in the CGL Newspaper, so there is truly something for everyone. Technology is off the table, meaning our campers are present in conversations and with the world around them, and staff help campers develop meaningful, positive relationships while at CGL.
At the end of the summer, our most common parent feedback is that campers go home having grown in confidence and resilience, and we help our parents feel connected and assured with regular communication and photos while your camper is away from home.
Parent Testimonials:
CGL was such an incredible experience for my first time campers! The counselors went above and beyond to rally around them with love and support. This camp has no pretense. It is beautiful in scenery but also direction. The daily emails from camp are written in such a heartwarming way that make you feel like you get to experience a portion of what our kiddos do while they’re there. The camp was full of returning campers and counselors which speaks measures to the energy at Camp Granite Lake.

CGL made camp an amazing experience for kids, but also adults! I knew how my son was doing, saw pictures, and felt very confident in how well things were organized and communicated. Strongly recommend.
