We had an awesome day at the pool today! We began our day at Dowdy Draw; we sang songs and played games until the pool opened, including Boom-chicka-Boom and the Hippopotamus Song. Then, we hopped on the bus and headed to the pool! We got all sunscreened, and jumped in! We enjoyed the slide and the diving board, and all of the campers enjoyed playing with their friends. We had lunch in the shade, then re-sunscreened and drank a lot of water. In the afternoon, groups created their cabin shields (to decorate the bus!), and made beautiful lanyards. We finished off our day with some quiet afternoon songs, and headed home! Tomorrow, we’re fishing and doing archery–we’ll see you there!
