Denver Explorers campers had a great day at Stapleton Green and at the JetStream Pool yesterday.  They kicked off the day with songs like “Little Red Wagon”, “Sloopy,”  “Little Spaceship in the Sky,” and more.  After songs, the Explorers played “Charades-Pictionary” as an all camp game.  Campers worked with their cabin groups to draw and act out things like driving a car and Harry Potter.  In their cabin groups, campers worked on their skits in preparation for skit day on Friday, played parachute games, and built lanyards and friendship bracelets.

After lunch, it was time to re-sunscreen and head over to the pool, where campers were able to swim and play.  We did swim screens, and many campers were able to go into the deep end to jump off the diving board.  Campers also watched lifeguards in training practice their skills during the fifteen minute adult swim.

We finished off the day with snack at the green, and an interactive story by Joe about Jack, the semi-friendly ghost (not as friendly as Casper, but still pretty friendly). Check out our photo gallery for pictures of the day!
