Yesterday, both groups went to the Rocky Mountain Arsenal for a day of fishing. We didn’t catch a thing, but the campers had fun and learned that fishing is all about having fun in nature with your friends and having patience.
Explorers spent some time at Lake Ladora making boats & catching craw dads too. Both groups finished their time at the arsenal in the contact station exploring the exhibits.
Today all campers got to climb Wally, our portable rock wall. We then headed to f15 pool for some splashing around.
The juniors had a highlight of dissecting owl pellets (and taking the bones home!)
We can’t wait to head to Eldorado Canyon tomorrow!
