Today, the Juniors found messages from Shock-T, the old Eldorado Hotel caretaker. His notes led us on a clue hike down the Marshall Mesa trail. He had left them for his wife, Serafina. At the end of the clue trail, there were red pipecleaners for each of us from Shock-T! What fun! We found some shade to sit in and order gorp, which we will eat tomorrow and Friday. The recipes sound delicious. After lunch and a liberal reapplication of sunscreen, we hiked back to the trailhead where Ed was waiting for us. Back at Base Camp, a Junior Leader read us some stories. Then, a special guest arrived to do a yoga story with us. This left enough time to play, make crazy sunglasses, and have a frozen snack before it was time to go home. It was a hot one today, so, though we drank lots of water, be sure to rest up for fishing tomorrow!
